The baby pigeons have arrived! Last night we found their shells cracked open under the grill and this morning the shells are gone but you can see little pigeon legs squirming around under Maude. I’ve only seen one with my own two eyes, but hope that both babes survived the hatching process.
I’m also pleased to report that Harold has been a diligent father, visiting regularly with food for his family. This morning there was a big rotting chili pepper on our porch. I’m not sure if Maude vetoed that meal for her little ones or if she’s saving it for dessert.
